2007 Give Water • Give Life FilmWater 1st in IndiaThis year's film starts off in India, where Water 1st visited in March, 2007. Our local partner organization, APS, is always eager to show us as many waterpoints and latrines as we can possiblly fit in during the short time we have to visit. And of course we are eager to see them all as well. Come along as we travel down the Ganges River to villages on the islands of the Sunderbans, and meet the people who are being helped by your donations in India. See the India Film ––>
Water 1st in HondurasWater 1st visited Honduras in April, 2007, just at the beginning of the tropical rain season. The San Gabriel project was nearly completed, with the spring cap and water storage tank being finished, and the community members building latrines and household sinks. Come meet the people of Honduras and learn about their struggle to find clean drinking water. See the Honduras Film ––>
Water 1st in BangladeshWater 1st works in the slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh, where four million people live as squatters and slum dwellers. Most of these four million people have no access to safe drinking water or latrines. Water 1st works with our local partner organization, DSK, to correct this problem. Water 1st in EthiopiaThe Ilamu Muja project was nearly completed when Water 1st visited Ethiopia in January, 2007. Meet Bosu, who was still spending 6 hours per day fetching water as the project was being built. Today she has safe drinking water thanks to the generosity of Water 1st supporters.
