Water 1st – Beer 2nd event a huge successOver 200 people filled the Pyramid Alehouse on Friday night, March 24, for the 1st annual Water 1st–Beer 2nd event. Guests enjoyed beer, food, live music, and a Water 1st presentation and short film to learn about the global water crisis and the mission of Water 1st. Special thanks to Water 1st Board Vice Chair Jim Moore for emceeing the event, to the many volunteers and guests who helped make the event a success, and to the band Bare Bones for providing fun, and live music. Music by Bare BonesMusic was provided by Bare Bones, a Seattle band who donated their time and talents for the evening. The crowd danced and sang along as the band played a variety of songs to everyone's delight. To top it all off, they sang an original song written just for the Water 1st-Beer 2nd Event called "What made the Pyramid Alehouse famous," a raucous little bluesy number with a message to boot. Check out the lyrics to the song here. We look forward to next year’s event…Cheers! Water 1st-Beer 2nd Merchandise for Sale
