Over 2 billion people lack access to clean water. Women and girls spend hours every day carrying home every drop of water their families use.
When everyone, everywhere has piped water and a toilet, the impact is transformative.
For our Seattle Center Fountain participants, at a minimum we will follow city and county COVID-19 safety guidelines. Vaccination will be required for attendance.
Water1st projects save lives & create opportunity. To date, over 273,000 people have gained access to clean water and a toilet and over 1 million hours of walking for water have been eliminated, unlocking valuable potential. This time can now be used to go to school and earn an income, allowing families to save money.
