How do I get to the Seattle Center Fountain?
With several bus routes, parking spots, bicycle racks throughout campus, designated rideshare pick-up and drop-off zones and the Seattle Center Monorail, there are multiple ways to get to and from Seattle Center. The Seattle Center Fountain is located at 305 Harrison St, Seattle. Click here for driving directions. Click here for a map of the entire Seattle Center Campus. You'll see our Water1st Carry5 Walk for Water tents set up in the same location as in the past, at the Seattle Center Fountain in the southeast corner closest to the Armory Building.
What will the fundraising support?
Help us reach our $200,000 goal to provide piped water and toilets for every household, school, and gathering place in San Jose Lempira, Honduras. Rally friends, family, and everyone you know to join you. Get creative and raise money by sharing your talents.
Do I need to pre-register?
To limit personal contact, we ask everyone to pre-register on our website and virtually fundraise via your campaign page. Pre-registration is $15/person and includes a t-shirt. Walkers ages 5 and under are free. Day of registration is $25/person. We will have a QR code and Venmo available for anyone who needs to register in-person or turn in cash contributions they've collected.
How do I receive my t-shirt?
If you will be walking with us at Seattle Center, we will have your t-shirt available when you arrive. For those of you walking in your own neighborhoods, we will mail your t-shirts in mid-April.
What do I need to bring?
It’s going to be a glorious sunny day, right? Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring some drinking water, a snack, sunscreen and a hat. Also bring a container for carrying water along the 5km route (e.g. milk jug or laundry detergent bottle). You can fill your container at home or at the Seattle Center Fountain which will be running on low-flow setting for our event.

12:00-12:50pm – Registration, T-Shirt Pick-Up, Activities. Merch, sign-making, lemon-aid, plus more! Venmo is preferred. You can pre-register on our website anytime.
12:50-1:00pm – Welcome, Special Thanks, Awards
1:00-2:00pm – Walk starts and ends at Seattle Center Fountain. Add Walk route is 5k (2x around) and starts/ends at Seattle center
Fountain. You do not have to carry water to participate. Walk as far as you are able.
How do I carry water?
For everyone’s health & safety, we are asking walkers to bring your own containers - BYOC! Reuse milk jugs, juice & water containers, laundry detergent bottles, whatever you can carry walking for 5k. In-person walkers will be able to fill their containers at Seattle Center Fountain which will be set on the lowest setting.

Seattle Center Armory has several restrooms available for public use.
Will there be food?
We will have water + light snacks available. Seattle Center Armory has several food + beverage options available if needed.
Covid-19 Safety
At minimum, we will follow state, county, and city Covid-19 protocol. We ask all Carry5 participants to observe best practice to keep everyone safe & healthy: Stay home if you are unwell, vaccinate if you are able, and mind mask and 6 ft. social distance recommendations.
