A school year program for 6th-12th grade students in Seattle and the surrounding area.
Water1st Youth Board members are required to attend 5 meetings per school year and fundraise for our Carry5 Walk for Water.

Members are chosen based on interest in global issues as well as a commitment to advocacy and fundraising.
This school year program empowers students to use their talents and networks to further the work of Water1st. Students gain a deep understanding of the global water crisis and acquire the tools to effectively communicate the problem, thus creating the next generation of super-advocates who are positively impacting the world.
Water1st Youth Board members meet to engage in activities that, 1/ educate students on the impact and challenges of the global water crisis, 2/ empower students to make a difference through advocacy training, 3/ support a new network of friendships based on a common interest of global equity.
Our curriculum teaches students a variety of global development topics including public health, technology, economics, gender equity, research, monitoring & evaluation, and community-led development.
Advocacy training includes public speaking, writing, designing social media campaigns, and more.
Leadership positions are available for returning sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Opportunities include the meeting committee, social media committee, focus group facilitator, and liaison to the Water1st Board.
We offer in-person meetings for students in Seattle and the surrounding area. Transportation assistance available.
Global Fellows are selected to participate in a travel experience to learn about sustainable development in our project communities. Juniors and seniors who have participated as Water1st Youth Board members are eligible to apply to this program.
This school year program, offered online around the world for students in grades 6th to 12th, empowers members to use their talents and networks to further the work of Water1st and to meet like-minded students around the United States and across the globe.

Water from Wine is a very small winery and unable to benefit from competitive shipping rates that larger wineries enjoy. Wine is shipped via UPS, which adds additional fees for shipping alcohol because an adult over 21 must sign for delivery. Water from Wine does not profit from shipping costs.
